In order to match the D 6LCR and D 6SUR sonically, we have created a monster
subwoofer: The 1-inch thick cabinet is made of very stiff MDF material. Inside,
we’ve mounted an extremely powerful 15-inch woofer with Motional Feed Back
(MFB), and powered it up with a 400 watt Class D amplifier that delivers a peak
power output of no less than 700 watts! The D 6SUB reaches all the way down to
20Hz which could cause problems in some rooms, so we have added a Boundary Gain
Compensation filter to fine-tune its response.
